Holger K. Nielsen was a Danish politician who served as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark from 1982 to 1993. He was born on 26th June 1939 in Sct. Knuds Gymnasium, Odense, and grew up in the small town of Glamsbjerg. He was a member of the Socialist People's Party (SF) and also served as the party's chairman from 1979 to 1989 and again from 1991 to 2005. Holger K. Nielsen was known for promoting environmental protection policies, human rights, and nuclear disarmament. He was appointed as the Minister for Foreign Affairs in 1982, and during his tenure, he advocated for peace and stability in the world. He played a significant role in Denmark's international relations and represented the country in various conferences and forums. Holger k. Nielsen passed away on 21st February 2015, at the age of 75.
